Our story

Hello, my name is Thibaut, I have been sailing for over 20 years as a professional and adventurer on the water. I now want to share the best moments of happiness on the lagoon, aboard a vessel perfectly suited for trips of a few hours.

Aorai, a Polynesian double canoe, can be single-handed, but most of the time a crew member embarks to help welcome our passengers.

As captain, I adapt to your wishes: if you want to sail longer, or change the route, everything is possible.

Safety on board

The boat is equipped with all necessary safety equipment to welcome you in the best conditions.

The captain holds:

Coastal navigation certificate
CPL - Lagoon Pilot Certificate
BEES - State Sports Educator Diploma
BNSSA - National Aquatic Rescue Safety Certificate
Over 20 years of navigation experience

Sun canopies are fitted on certain areas of the boat to protect you from sun and weather. If curiosity takes you, you can share the sailing experience by getting involved in navigation.

The pirogue

Aorai, the Wharram Tangaroa MK2

Aorai is a Polynesian double canoe of type Wharram Tangaroa MK2, an exceptional vessel designed for lagoon sailing.

Its central platform, equipped with benches, mattresses and a sun-bathing net, lets you lie down directly above the water, rocked by the waves and the wind.
